Thank you for using Illuminated. Your privacy is important to us, and we want to be transparent about how we handle your information.
Illuminated does not collect, store, or transmit any personally identifiable information about you. We do not ask for or require your name, email address, or any other personal details to use the app.
All music files, library data, playlists, and metadata remain entirely on your device and are never uploaded to any server.
Illuminated offers an optional Last.fm integration. If you choose to connect your Last.fm account, Illuminated will transmit the title, artist, and duration of tracks you play to Last.fm's servers in order to scrobble your listening history and update your now playing status. This happens only if you explicitly enable it.
We do not store your Last.fm credentials. Authentication is handled directly and securely by Last.fm. If you do not connect a Last.fm account, no data is transmitted anywhere.
Last.fm's own privacy policy governs how they handle your scrobbling data. You can review it at last.fm/legal/privacy.
We do not share any user data with third parties. The only external service Illuminated communicates with is Last.fm, and only when you have explicitly opted in to that integration.
Since we don't collect personal data, there are no user accounts or personal information to access, modify, or delete. If you have connected a Last.fm account and wish to remove your scrobbling history, you can do so directly through your Last.fm account settings.
We may update this Privacy Policy occasionally. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new policy on this page and updating the "Last Updated" date above.
